tie rod help
i changed my outers on my dana 44 (75 f100( to 8 lug using chevy parts. now my tie rod is too small it just falls in. what can i do?

Go get a chevy tie rod end to fit that spindle....don't worry you are still 99% Ford so you are still ok in our eyes. lol.
|
Exactly, try to cross over to ford parts if all possible, but a chevy tie rod or ends or both should fix you. Do you have the "Y" steering, or the crossover style? If the Y then it might be a good time to update to the crossover at this point.

Buy Moog tie rod ends and you will come out far superior to Chevy.

Not Going to switch to ford outters, it was hard enough to find these. I willlook into the cross over style. My currently orginally didn't the previous owner put the y steering and my lift calls for the y steering I'm going to look into crossover and moog tie rods tho ty
