Rigid Industries has pictures of their setups on their website. Although this says it is for a 2011-2013 it looks awesome and would be where I would mount one if I did not have a replacement front end. You could custom mount one in the same area and achieve the same look. Just my opinion. (The bracket may even fit, but I am unsure.)

Just FYI the rigid mount is garbage, you can pry them off with a pocket knife. I use a heavy duty unbendable theft proof one that is very secure.

These are a nice cheap addition too, led license plate lights

Also a 10" fits perfectly in the back window, great fit if you have an electric rear window

I have a 40" I was going to mount on my grille guard. Fits perfectly and is awesomely bright, but I am selling it. My plans for lighting have changed.

What brand 40"? How many lumens? How much?

Btw there are many other great brands that have a much more realistic price range than rigid, and likely come from the same place. I have heard great things about ledwarehouse.com and tough-light.com.

Anybody heard/used Totron LED? Good/bad?

For my experiences the current market of LED bars leaves you wanting more for your money. My research found most bars are using 3w LEDs. My KC 6x9 HIDs will outshine the 30" LED bar. The LED bar is great for about 200' and side-to-side is improved. The KC HIDs will easily tag 300'+ with good side-to-side coverage. My LED bar was $250...if you spend more you better be sure you are getting better than 3w per LED.

The mounting bar I am using is from a company out of AL I recall. They are on Ebay if you are interested. The LED light bar is from M4Products.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. I don't want to be passing out bad info/products. Just out of curiosity, what mounts are you using that are more sturdy/theft proof?

I make them, I own a fab shop.

I like led bars because they are more appealing, fit into spaces better and you don't have to have more than one. Never been a fan of the big round lights on trucks

It's cheaper than regular front end repairs due to roaming wildlife.

As far as led light bars "not meeting expectations" this may be the case with a cheap bar. $250 (not to single you out) isn't going to get you a great bar.

To get the best light output get a combo spot flood, and make sure it uses CREE LEDs. If price is more important there are cheaper options than CREE, but they produce the most light.
