NOMINATIONS/VOLUNTEERS FOR WV CHAPTER LEADER!

Ladies and Gents, it's time to find a Chapter Leader for the WV Chapter.

As the kids are getting older...and my workload at the office has doubled (software testing SUCKS)...I'm finding that I'm not getting to spend the quality time that I used to on the site. IMO, a good candidate would be somebody who has 10 to 20 minutes every day or two so they can poke around on the site and keep things rolling. It's not a hard job...and it's really not time consuming...it just requires some dedication.

Chapter Leader nominations or volunteers are now open.

Before posting in this thread please review the following links, as they will likely answer any questions you may have regarding the position and the election procedure:

Chapter Guidelines: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/76...-1-2008-a.html

Chapter Leader Guidelines: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/76...-1-2008-a.html

If you have a question that's not answered in the previous links, feel free to post it in this thread or send a pm to Steve, SteveBricks, or George, glruff.

Here are the ground rules for this thread:

1) Before nominating someone, be certain that they will accept the position.

2) Volunteers/Nominees please introduce yourself, provide a brief detail of what you do, where you live, and add your first name to your signature (if it isn't already there).

3) You must be a West Virginia Chapter member and resident to make a nomination or volunteer for the position.

4) Participation in this thread is limited to West Virginia Chapter members who are residents and site staff.

5) Please keep on topic. Any off topic postings in this thread will be removed :)

Well after several people prodding me forcefully and mulling it over several tasty beverages, I've decided to toss my name into the hat. We can't go on without a CL, and Joe has to move on with his personal business, I'm glad he hung in this long...

A quick intro:

My name is Matt, I live in Falling Waters, WV. It's located in Northern Berkeley County in the Panhandle. I'm not a native of WV, but I built my home here back in 2006. I've been active all over FTE for a while, though I admit not as much down here of late. I've been representing WV at Carlisle for all 6 years, sometimes taking over the club duties unofficially, when Joe could not, so the show would go on as needed. I've been in and around the automotive world all my life, was a parts guy for 17 years until this May when I made a career jump to IT Manager, at a parts company... I also run several websites already and am no stranger to the workings of vBulliten.

I can't say I'll be the best, can't say I'll be the most active. But I won't let the lights go out on this chapter. I would like to meet some of you eventually, some I already have thanks to Carlisle.
