What a difference a new CAT makes

I changed my CAT and O2 sensor today. I also had to change everything from the manifolds back to the muffler :-X15
Oh well. What a difference a new Y pipe, CAT, O2 sensor and no leaks in the exhaust makes. My truck is much quieter and seems to have a bit more power. I think the CAT was the original and my truck has almost 190,000 Kms on it. Hopefully my mileage will still be good as I was getting about 18 on the highway with it. Time will tell I guess.:)

Did you get a stock or aftermarket CAT?

Aw man... :( I saw CAT in capital letters and for some reason my first thought was that you swapped in a CAT diesel.

Good to hear you're truck's running good though. :D

Sorry Dixie460, no diesel. I don't think my F150 suspension could hold up the weight of a diesel. LOL.
I put in a 49 state original CAT as they couldn't find an oem replacement here in BC.

I've been thinking about installing a new high flow one to replace my factory stuff. I'm at 160k miles.
