65 F100 6 cyl radiator
 

Hi, hope everybody is having a fun and safe weekend. My radiator on my 65 F100 6 cyl 300 is shot. Anybody have advice as to what I can do to repair/replace new or used, any ideas will help. The shop that has my truck is gonna try to find a new universal radiator to fit in there(not sure if that is a good option if finding an original is possible). My truck does not have a shroud and hasn't for poss 20ish year without problems. The shop said I NEED a shroud to go with the new radiator.... Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

i doubt you will need a shroud, mine doesn't. take your radiator out and take it to Performance Radiator. they did mine and it turned out great.

Thanks Bill, I pulled the radiator and was told it can be repaired. Garbz said he has 1 from a 302 that will work. Im waiting to get mine back to see if all goes well. Didn't think it needed a shroud, my dad drove it 20 or 30+ yrs without a shroud or a problem(just keep those hands away).
