Crankshaft Position Sensor 96 ford f150 4.9L

My truck has been screwing up slightly again. Normally starts up fine, and about a mile down the road it starts to stumble. Almost as if running out of gas. It doesn't quit, just stumbles and loses power. Only does it for maybe 5 seconds or so, then straightens itself up, and drives fine. When i leave where ever I have went, it usually starts right up. Again about a mile down the road it does it again. Hot. Cold, doesn't seem to matter. Once it straightens out, it drives fine again.

Every once in awhile, when I am only in a place a minute, and come out and start it (warm) it acts flooded when i start it. Stumbles around a bit and straightens out, then runs fine again.

Yesterday, i was in the parts store just a moment. When I came out and tried to start it, it just kept turning over and over (fast) and wouldn't start. The parts guy came out and read the codes and said it is the "Crankshaft Position Sensor". He didn't have one for it in stock.

I took the positive batter cable off for a minute to reset the computer. Reconnected the battery, and it fired right up and drove home fine.

Everything I find people posting online about it seems to contradict each other though, and none seem to give a clear location for it. So my main question is:

Where is the Crankshaft Position Sensor located on a 1996 f150 4.9L?

Has anyone had these same symptoms with their 4.9L?
