1984 F150 axle ratio ?
 

1984 F150 straight 6, auto has "17" on the door post information label for the axle code. I could not find this on the axle ratio charts that I found. Does anyone know what it is ?

Is there still a tag on one of the bolts on the rear end/ if so it will tell the ratio, should be stamped next to the bolt hole, something like, 3.25 or 3.00.

Presently I can not get to it. It is on the ground under the truck.

17 is a 2.47 to 1 ratio rearend.
