New exhaust for the rig
 

Truck has a 460, 2.5in exhaust with glass packs, looking at getting 3in exhaust with dynomax mufflers or flowmaster, does anyone have this setup? Does it sound good?

dual 2 1/2 is fine. Dual 3" is too big, single 3" is ok.

I'm likeing the sound of the single 3in, pass side exit, they exit at the corner of the box now and I'm not a fan of it

Here is my son's set up on his 96 with 351w. Flowmaster Y into a 3" Magnaflow round muffler then out the side. Little loud for me but a bigger muffler would help that.

I like that, a Lil loud is ok with me, but it has to sound better then glasspacks, I hate the sound of them

Well it is sorta a glass pack. 3" perferated tube with ceramic fiber wrapped around it. lol
