I got the insurance from Hagerty

I while back I asked for info on insuring our trucks. Well I did an instant quote from Hagerty on the internet and figured out that it was good but didn't really feel like going thru the hassle at the moment, so I put it off. I received a follow up e-mail from them that said click here to continue. After only about an hour( for slow fingers me) I was done ,ezpeezee. I just filled out the on line form they sent me, included some picks of my truck off my computer, along with a copy of my current policy and within a few hours I got a phone call thanking me for becoming a member, the Id cards are in the mail. the cost was $182 a year with $15,000 agreed value. The rep said that rides to the post office, store, car shows was all good and these vehicles needed to be exercised. I put my milage at 200 to 500 miles a year, wich is plenty for my driving habits. They were super easy to deal with, and very nice on the phone. I figured Id follow up my request for info thread, with what I found out and did. I can now park my truck and not sweat theft as much. Thanks everyone for there input on the matter.

Thanks for sharing. That's surprisingly cost effective. :-drink

I just got an e-mail that it actually came out to $152 annually, wich is $ 100. a year less than I was paying to 21st Century for just liability.

That is better. I have mine through J.C. Taylor and pay $148. Also 15k value and with 300k liability and same for uninsured. Truck needs to be in a garage when not in use.

The CHROME program through American National is another option too.

I have my 1968 Triumph TR6R Trophy (motorcycle) insured through Hagerty.

I believe with chrome they also want your personal car as well as the vintage veh, you are insuring/that's how it was a few years back

I think there was a recent change that allows a chrome policy to be a stand alone.

In any case, its worth asking if your on the hunt for the coverage you want and the usage you want. CHROME gives you up to 10k miles.

You can set your mileage with Hagerty.

That's great. A lot of people have been frustrated by mileage limits with other places.
