Brake controller in 5 speed
 

I need to mount my brake controller and am having trouble finding a spot that won't interfere with my feet. Has anyone mounted theirs in the cubby hole in front of the shifter?? If so, how does that piece come out?

2006 f150 4x2 5speed

Yes I did, had to drill a hole in the back to run the wires through. If I remember right it just screws in. You need to pull the bezel around the radio off.

Ended up mounting it in the little cubby hole.
