F450 4x4 locking front hubs?

Hi, I'm looking to buy an F450 4x4 with blown v10 motor, to use drivetrain in another project. What size front axles are in these trucks? do they have manually locking front hubs? It's a complete short bed truck minus bed. If anyone is interested in any parts let me know. Thanks in advance for any tips on front axle. Chris

depends on what year truck

It's a 2000. I want to keep with the manual locking hubs. Thanks.

Can't find any info on whether this truck has manual locking front hubs or not. The guy said it didn't, but read some were that they did come with manual lock front hubs in 2000. Can it be both?

No such thing as a short bed F450. A f450 of that year would be a cab and chassis and might have the shortest wheelbase available but it's not a short bed. No cab and chassis models came with pick up beds. Yes Fords hubs can be auto and manual or just manual only. With the manual only hubs you get a 4x4 shifter on the inside of the truck.

The 2000 model year F450 uses a Dana 60 axle in the front, and a Dana 80 in the rear. And they should be with a 4.88 gear ratio
