1954 Ford F250 - updated

This classic fatfender beauty was purchased in 2009, restored and updated. It features the original 223 inline 6 cylinder engine (which was rebuilt) and 3 speed manual HD transmission (3 on the tree shifting). NO overheating problems at all. Truck runs down the road straight and fine. Tires were new last year. Front disc brakes and a dual master cylinder were added along with a toyota power steering conversion. New steel fuel tank and new fuel/brakes lines. This truck was stripped down to the frame and redone. The stock suspension was overhauled with new kingpins and bushings. Frame was scrubbed and coated with POR 15. All the wiring has been converted over to new 12 volt negative ground. The original dash instruments were not hooked up except for speedo and odometer (they are accurate and work). I installed a new gauge cluster that gives better readings than the stock gauges ever did. All new glass installed. It starts and runs good. We have driven this truck over 1400 miles since it was road ready last year. The rear end was changed out to a Dana 44 (3.73 gears). Allows the truck to run at 65-70mph down the highway. It features a custom wooden flatbed with decorative stake sides. This truck was rebuilt as a daily/weekend driver, not a show truck. It still has some small dings but any rust was removed long ago. It is 95% finished. Drive it like it is or spend the time at your pace to finalize it. The paint job is newer but has not been wetsanded out and buffed. It is NOT a show paint job, it is a "10 footer". I drive this truck to many parades and cruise-ins. Family obligations and other projects are needing more attention so I am selling. It has a clear Michigan title. This truck would be great for someone that wants a mostly finished truck and wants to tinker with things while being able to drive it. 13-15mpg. Fly in and drive home or willing to deliver for a fee or I will throw in a tow bar if you want to flat tow it home. Photos are here 1954 Ford F250 truck
