i am looking for a f-250 or 350 running and ready to drive. i really do not care how it looks, as long as it is not rusted beyond the point of messing with. 4x2 or 4x4 is ok....it must be a king or crew cab...no regular cab. it must also have an auto trans in it. if you are very far from tn, you will have to be willing to give me time to figure out shipping or come get it....i will have cash in hand, you have clear title.....thank you

BTW its called a "super cab" meaning extended cab like now days and yes a crew cab ='s 4 door.

Also keep in mind that that there is a F150 (1/2 ton 5 lug) 4x4 version out there in a super cab. It will have a leaf spring front suspension like a F250, but only because its a super cab.

yes, i look at craigslist everyday....and i need a 250 up, a 150 will not work for what i need to do....and i thought everyone would understand what i meant by kingcab, and yes, i meant a crew cab (4 door) would also work....i can find them on e-bay, and they are not priced outside of my range....but they are mostly out west and they want them gone 7 days after the auction ends.....it may take me longer than that to come get it.

Where in Tn are you located N, S, E, Western parts? If you are on the west side the one outside of KC would be a good deal for the money and only like a 6 or 7 hrs to get from the east side of Tn to KC.

Looking for a 2wd F250 super cab, auto trans sure opened up you chances.....good luck.

1977 ford f250 4 door short bed truck

i am just outside Nashville....and i am willing to travel as far as Texas right now, any farther than the dallas area and it may take a few days to set up. i have called on the 77 short bed, but have not heard back yet...may be gone....the 4x4 is too far modified for what i need, but it is sharp!! thank you for all the help so far.....i am going to call on the 78 also, but figure they are closed today...the price is good, if it looks as nice up close as in the pics.

There is a nice one for sale locally in Southern Illinois. Ill check price and get some pics for you.

If the price is too good, you wont hear from me though, because it will be in my barn.

hi, if you havent bought a truck yet i have a 78 F350 Supercab 4x4 it's the one in my profile pic. it has a rebuilt 400 with about 3,00mi on it. rebuilt C-6 trans with about 20,000mi. dana 60 front dana 70 rear, both rebuilt 20,000mi ago. power steering power brakes, new BFG tires, custom front super heavy duty winch bumper with 9000 pound winch that works off of the power steering pump. and it's a heavy duty GM pump, AC, cruise control (it works) tilt wheel, 4in lift, swaybars front and rear, tow hitch, factory storage box on pass side of bed, high back bucket seats console back seat, am/fm/cd with big speaker box in back, factory bed cap, heavy duty GM 1 wire alt, dual batt hook up, new Desert cooler Rad(huge) solid AZ body, just need paint. everything under the hood has been painted or powder coated, 3in exhaust sounds really nice.
