Auto enginuity in Phoenix SE valley ?

Does anyone have AE so I can check my excursion v10 and do a cylinder balance test ?
Having some pinging issues, worse under load in the heat.
Suspecting failing cop, and a cylinder balance test might help find it.
It's a 2000 6.8L V10, obdII model
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am in Mesa.. I have a shop..Center and Broadway area.

I just got my AE scan tool. Contact me thru the the board message.

No charge if you know how to work the tool and do it yourself!!

I do not want to post contact info as it might be seen as advertising as I own a shop.

Thanks,AzDave

Just to let you know Bill not sure if you already found out or not but the Original poster's vehicle is a V10 which is a gasser not a diesel. The V10 is the 6.8L and the diesel is a V8 7.3L. Just wanted to clarify that a bit.

Have you tried taking the truck to your local autozone or similar auto parts store first and putting it on a code reader as I believe (I am not sure haven't ran into cop problems with our 02 F250 V10) as it should pull up anything wrong along with other possible problems you may not know about. Also pinging under load when was your plugs last changed and how many miles are on the truck these V10s when you don't change the plugs on time cause weird things to happen. Just a suggestion.

Yes, I have a code scanner myself (a cheapie one, and one on my smartphone) and it doesn't set any codes.
Plugs were changed less than 3K ago.
Truck has 168K on it. I am not the first owner, but the overall indication is that the truck has been very well maintained.

Thanks for the offer, I sent a PM to the poster.
