1971 Ford Bucket Seats
Hi Guys! -
I scored a pair of factory Ford bucket seats with brackets. I pulled them from a 1971 "bump-side" four-door crew cab F350 pick-up. At first I did not think they were original, but the build sheet was behind the back seat and "bucket seats" was checked off. The warranty card was also in the truck. My question is, how rare are these bucket seats? I am more of a '65-'66 Ford F100 guy myself, so if someone out there is interested in them, just let me know. Thanks! Dan M. |
Not sure about the seats, but repro brackets are sold by BillW for $200 a set. You have something rare on your hands.

Dan, can you post up a pic of the seats, I'd like to see what they look like! I don't think I've ever seen the factory buckets. I'd think they'd be worth a good bit!

The bucket seats used in the 71's were Mustang low bucket seats. Those brackets are worth more than the seats are!
If you decide to sell them (the brackets) let me know what you want for them. |
Here a link to a few photos of the seats I have:
Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing The seats are for sale. I have the repo brackets in my '66 F100 and would have no immediate plans for them. If interested, drop me a PM... Thank You! Dan M. |
