Another week in Mo...

Every time I find a "new" vehicle close by, it's overpriced. $3999 for a '99 Exploder XL with the ohv, 2wd, PW PDL cloth, rr window that doesn't work and a broken console lid. Otherwise, very clean, runs like a champ, brakes work fine, paint is good, 50% Michelins and a 100% spare.

I find loaded Eddie Bauer jobs for that money. This is 107000, but those are 131-151,000.

And Escapes--you'd think they were made of gold.

I figure I gotta go '08 or up with an Escape to get the side air bags. With the extra 1000 lbs in the Exploder and a little higher ride height, I'll chance it without the side jobs.

Still no word on our mystery drunk and if he has insurance or even a license.....

I wonder if that floggin' 3D printer that makes a gun could turn me out a car....
