Gas gauge and lie-o-meter not synchronized
 

I notice, that once I hit 1/4 tank. Either my lie-o-meter or gas gauge is accurate. The gauge will be showing just under 1/4 tank and the meter will show twenty miles.
I'm thinking about dropping the tank and replacing the fuel lever assembly. I stopped by autozone put they couldn't find a part number. Can someone provide a part number and a suggestion or two?

Get an OE one from Ford. forget the Autozone crap!

I have the same problem but I think it's with the lie-o-meter. It will read 0 miles but I can get another 50+ miles out of the remaing fuel. Is there a way to test that thing?

accuracy in any of the ford electronics is suspect. my speedometer is right on at 60 mph (according to my gps) but at 25 mph it is off by 4 mph.
