Expedition diesel

Why doesn't Ford offer their 6.7L diesel in this model? The assembly lines today are multi-faceted. They can affix any option on any model if Ford desires. Like offering the EcoBoost in the F-150 reg cab XLT standard bed. Still not available. Makes no sense.

EPA credits, durability testing, working with OEMs on a much larger scale than vehicle mfgs I can see what someone on this side can say, why not just slap it in there when on their side I can see what it's not as easy as just slapping it in there.

The 6.7 is too heavy, big, and powerful to install in the expedition. They'll have the EB and 6.2 out in the Expedition shortly and that will work for 99% of the customers in the market.

Personally I will probably get a 6.2 Expedition if I can steal one again.

Define "shortly". Thanks

6.2L. NOT offered in the F-150 King Ranch model but is available in the Lariat version. Go figure. And why doesn't Ford and others just go full bore with this turbo technology and make it available in most of their engines?
