98 8.8" factory LS , keep/fit?

Hey all, just thinking .. I swiped one of the covers off of my 98 F150 to replace the rotted cover on my Bronco...Then it hit me that I had an extra rear hanging around....
I am pretty certain the width is not the same between the trucks , but maybe the internals of the center section??? Was actually going to scrap it, should I save it for the Bronco?

Internals are the same AFAIK. Most likely width and spring locations are different.

I actually rebuilt my rear axle using a Limited Slip from a 98 explorer 8.8". I bought the master bearing rebuild kit or whatever it is off of Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. I replaced carrier bearings and crush sleeves on the diff. It fit fine, Ive been running it for over a year now.

I absolutely love it, I put 33's under it the only thing I gotta do is bump the bumper out about 1-2inches because it rubs the plastic skirt thats attached to it. Any question just let me know.
