Leaning to one side

I have noticed for a while now that my trucks seems to sit on a slight angle to the driver side. I first noticed it when I was driving and the steering wheel was pointed to the right, I just thought I was on a angled road, then I noticed more and more. Then I was looking at my truck from the front and you can see it on a angle. So I measured the wheel wells and the driver side sits about 1/2 lower then the passenger. I made sure the tires all had the same amount of air and that nothing was in the bed pushed over to that side. I first saw it with my stock tires and it still sits the same way with the new ones. I rotated the tires and nothing changed. This is not normal is it? I measured the top of the shocks and they are both the same on both sides in the front too.
:-huh:-huh:-huh

I know she'll lean slightly when I have a full tank of fuel. Not enough to register on the truck apps thing, but she's leaning none the less. Once I get to half tank or less I don't notice it..

I guess 26g of fuel all sitting on the drives side tends to make her sit alittle off.

I did notice it a little more with a full tank, but I got 35 gallons, so a little more weight there. It does not register on the truck app, just the steering wheel. I just bugs me, not having a straight wheel.

Mine is about .5 in. lower on the driver's side rear. I brought it to my dealer and they confirmed it. Then they presented me with documentation showing that Ford considers this to be within spec.

I wasn't happy to hear that so I took it to another dealership and got the same answer. The official line is that anything within 5/8 of an inch is acceptable. Beyond that measurement, the recommended action is to install a new spring.

I'm not impressed.

Well maybe I can get it go lean 3/4 of a inch, then they will have to replace the springs. Just a thought.

Seems like mine always leaned a 1/2" more on the drivers side first noticed last year when I was trying to setup my trailer hitch. I think airbags are the way to go these rear springs are terrible. I wanted a 3/4 ton truck not a 1/2 ton!:-arrgh

you said that the front of your truck leans, how about the bed? several trucks i've owned in the past would develop a lean in the bed, as i assume it was just uneven wear of the springs. My current truck doesn't seem to show any kind of lean yet, but its still pretty young.

The back is not as bad as the front but it does have a slight lean to it. It is just more noticeable in the front.

2014 f150 5.0 L - same problem and less then 10 k

I have a 2014 F150 with 7800 km.. and the rear drivers side sits 1 1/8" lower than the rear passengers side.. doesn't matter where i check it drove to 4 spots (all appeared level) and measured facing both directions in the same spots. I will be going to Ford because something has to be wrong. On the front both sides sit exactly level with each other - within 1/8 of an inch every time. I thought maybe it was the fuel - but right now the tank is nearly empty and still the same thing - it is not level and you can easily visually see it from the back. Seems odd.. like a leaf or a shock is broken already. Which would be a big piss off because the truck doesn't even have 10k and I work an office job.. the truck is NOT working hard like a work truck. The truck still drives very smooth and straight just leans in the back.. and it is now driving me nuts. Will be taking it to the dealer ASAP! :-huh

My 2010, 2012, 2013 150's all leaned. My 2015 SD also leans to the drivers side. Just the way it is.... Nothing is wrong with them.

I have purchased 6 new fords in 25yrs. 150,250 and 350. They all had the lean. Its a shame that they lean and are with in spec.
