Upgrades for towing

Buying a 29 ft keystone Laredo for the family vacations. As we all know the 5.4 isn't a HP monster so I'm planning my upgrades. I'm doing an intake, SCT programmer and a cat back exhaust. For the intake Im going with the AIRAID system. I did my homework on tuning and 5 star seems to be the guy getting all the kudos on the 5.4. I haven't decided on an exhaust system yet. What upgrades has everyone tried? Positive and negatives?

Can't help on the performance angle, but based on experience with an '03 Expy and an '08 Nav, I suggest you put LT tires on the vehicle in place of the P-metric. Much better stability.

I took those scorpions off the truck as soon as I bought it. I put on Cooper Zeon LTZ's. I wanted a more aggressive tread on the truck over the OEM all season redials. While not an "E" rated LT tire they are a stronger tire then the OEM, they are rated at 500 lbs more per tire max payload. They an XL rating, which I believe stands for extra load.

If I were you, I would invest in a heavy duty oil cooler. They should be fairly cheap. That won't just help you out for towing, it'll also make the vehicle last longer. And I'd Definitely recommend a hearty duty transmission cooler, it'll also make things easier on the vehicle.
