Security code for 2007 Edge
 

Just picked up a 2007 edge which I love so far. It did not have the 5 digit code card with the owners manual for the door keypad. Was wondering if anyone knows where I might find it on this vehicle. Have looked on the web with no luck for this info on the Edge. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. After talking to people about this, the only option I have found is to take it to the dealer and have them plug in to it with their computer to extract it. Apparently, unlike some other models I have owned, the only place they have a backup of the code is in the cpu. My 08 Expy had it in the owners manual, my 02 expy had a sticker somewhere. The best part is my dealer wont even get it for me for free. Hopefully yours is a little nicer, seems silly to charge me for it.

I guess it's been a while since I posted on this but I did find the code. I searched under the dash and behind the cover for the fuse box, right on the panel that holes the fuses, was a white sticker with 5 black numbers. I tried those numbers and they worked! There was no explanation, just the numbers. Anyway thanks for the response.:):):)
