1979 Instrument cluster

Doing some work on my instrument panel replacing the voltage regulator and discovered the white plastic that holds the instrument cluster is coming apart. Does anyone know the part number/availability of a replacement?

Appreciate the help.

Well this is the Ranchero forum so I assume more members in this forum would be of help than in the f-series forum..

Mike post a picture of your dash cluster, might be able to dig up something.

There are not reproductions of that part made. You will have to go find one -in a junkyard or find one on ebay. The part is from 77-79 only and can be found in rancheros, thunderbirds, torinos and LTD's. Good luck.

The part is from 77-79 only :-huh and can be found in Rancheros, Thunderbirds, Torinos and LTD II (Not an LTD!).
No Torino's after 1976.

1977/79 Ranchero: There are THREE different types of instrument cluster backs.

LTD II is not an LTD! / LTD II the confusing name that Ford replaced Torino with in 1977.

D4GY-10848-B .. Instrument Cluster Back / Obsolete

1974/76 Torino/Ranchero/Cougar/Montego with Rallye Instrument Group / 1977/79 LTD II/Ranchero/Cougar/Thunderbird with Tachometer.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-----------------------------------------------
D9SZ-10848-A (replaced D6OZ-10848-A) .. Instrument Cluster Back / Obsolete

1976 Torino/Cougar/Montego without Tachometer, without Tripodometer / 1977/79 LTD II/Ranchero/Cougar/Thunderbird without Tachometer, without Tripodometer.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-----------------------------------------------
D9SZ-10848-B (replaced D7SZ-10848-A) .. Instrument Cluster Back / Obsolete

1977/79 LTD II/Ranchero/Cougar/Thunderbird without Tachometer, with Tripodometer.

ANTIQUE AUTO SUPPLY in Arlington TX has ONE = 817-275-2381.

I still believe there is only one type of GT cluster backing for the 1977/1979, and then one type for standard clusters in 1977/1979 rancheros. My bad with the LTD, I always forget it's the LTD II.

I know it's an old post but I have this part for sale new. 3d printed on an industrial machine. Fits great. I have added structure and radiused the sharp intersections for strength.
