Actually that doesn't work, the Map wont see boost and you get no fuel...

As for the OP go for it, you will look like a goon for a few months then you will realize its dumb and won't want the smoke tune anymore and wish you had spent your money on a good econo or tow tune.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you........... You will be hard pressed to get much smoke from your stock engine even with a performance tune. I'm not sure about a smoke tune, I guess it's possible, low rpm full throttle no boost.

My truck will blow a ton of smoke with the stage one Swamps, but I'm older and I have gotten to where I hate to see it do it.

One reason is because or gov. will put a stop to our tuning if it gets out of hand. And it's just not good to begin with.

Maybe someone will post what your looking for.............. good luck

Ever sense the EPA notified the chip tuners about the fines involved, they are charging and extra 100 bucks for the smoke tune, ya go straight to jail if you get caught smokin in CA :-X22

But....why? Honestly smoke tunes arent worth it. Mine smokes more in 140 than it ever did in smoke. Smoke actually gave me good low end boost and less smoke than it did blow a cloud lol.

I must be getting old...i want the drivethrough quiet tune...that would be great!

With stock injectors you will not get the "Black smoke" that you want.

Now before you order your chip, You said your truck is stock, you should do some things to help your chip work better like the 6637 air intake and a 3inch downpipe. Also i would suggest you get gauges EGT and trans at least to monitor your temps while your using your tune.

But in the long run all black smoke is unburnt fuel. and in ohio diesels at 4 bucks. sooo think about it.

Blowin smoke is :-lamesign, you must be around 18 years old? And get ready, cause cities and states are starting to implement laws on this. There are some Texas cities that give you a 10k fine right off the bat; no warning. They are not stupid, they know diesels don't NORMALLY smoke like a refinery that is on fire.
