gas tank relocation
hi guys hope everyone is having a good new year so far.
well the time has come to do some work on the old girl like for one she needs a new interior. before i can put in the new interior the fuel tank needs to find a new home. i found a tank from a mid 80's bronco for pretty cheap how much fab work would be involved to change to this tank? the truck currently has a flat bed on it so the filler tube could just sit under the bed. ive also read some articles on hotrod magazine (online) they used a tank out of a mustang 68-72 i think but they made a frame for the tank to sit in. so im kinda looking for something with minimal fab work if possible thanks |
Why not look into a F250 type auxiliary frame mount tank ? They have the security plate and hardware required to mount them.

i didnt think of that
