Brake Pedal Return Spring
 

On a 60 F100 was there a return spring on the brake pedal? If there was where does it connect?

Yes there is. There is one on both the brake and the clutch pedal. They both attch. to a bracket that is bolted to the firewall in between the pedals for the lower end of the spring. The upper end of the spring attchs. up near the top of the pedal on the engine side of the pedal bushings. Not a very clear description perhaps. you might want to consider buying a shop manual, available on Ebay and other etc...

Thanks for the information. I have the bracket on the pedal but I didn't know where the bottom bracket went.
