Tranny temp?
Is anyone tracking their Explorer's transmission temperature by chance? My ScanGauge II is showing I get up as high as 193 degrees during some city-driving trips. That seems high to me, but I also don't see a transmission cooler on my ride.
My F350 would hold at 176 under all normal conditions and never got higher than maybe 190 (towing up a mountain pass with my 9,000 lb trailer). Does anyone know the normal temp range for this thing? |
Did you have to program your ScanGauge or did trans temp come up automatically?
Got a ScanGauge ll on my Expedition, may put it on the Wife's 2012 Explorer to check trans temp. |
I don't remember. I had the SGII on my previous truck and I had to add a few gauges the first time around. The one I'm using might be a stock profile, or one I added.
