Thought I would start one of these, not much action here on the Utah forum but why not try, right?

Anyhow, last week I picked up a '91 F250 IDIT and ZF5.
Been working on it almost everyday, getting it cleaned up, and fixing all the little things that were overlooked for years by the previous owner.

How much longer til she's ready for the road?

I picked up a house last fall, and been working on it ever since. Not as much fun as working on the truck though. :D

I have been driving it, she passed safety no trouble at all, just needed a new turn signal switch.
Just redid the fuel lines, ignition cylinder was sticking, glow plugs and relay, just alot of maintenance items.

Where's your house? The house is definitely not as fun to work on, but the wife likes it when I work on the house rather than in the garage!

I'm down near Panguitch. I spent this weekend doing equal time in the house(drywall finishing), and the garage(new attic access ladder, and garage door opener).

I'm renovating the entire upper floor, so a little garage time keeps me somewhat sane. }>

I HATE sanding drywall! Especially on the ceiling, ugh, I feel for ya!

The 088, although when/if I get head studs I will probably do HX35 or something similar.

sweet! I had the 088 also. Cute little turbo aint it. haha. i have a spare '85 6.9 injection pump if you want it you can have it, its just sitting going to waste in my garage

whats up man. i haven't talked to you since i was still in the Navy in SC. i'm still sport'n the SNPS sticker across my windshield and back window....LOL although it is starting to peal off. there are little white chunks of it all over. haha

what have you been up to lately. i see you've moved or are moving to UT. it's better here than southern nevada.

I am in Vegas working this week, 60* is much better than 30* hahaha

We've been spending a lot of time in UT for the past several years. Finally found what we've been looking for and bought a second house. Hopefully I'll retire there in another 10years or so. I stay in the Vegas house during the week for work, and drive up on the weekends.

It's been as I cold as I ever remember in Vegas this past week. My pool had an inch of ice on it, and my lawn was frozen.

It has been cold, it has been 6 years since it was this cold in Vegas from what I have been told.
Monday night one of my buildings actually had a 1" ball valve that supplies water to the boiler freeze and break. I am used to any water line outside having electric heat on it, but here they are just insulated, and some aren't even insulated!

Back home now, went from 60* to 20* in 1 hour, ugh

OK SLC peeps I'm gonna need to know if anyone has a good shop they've taken their trucks to! I'm pretty sure I'm in need of a set of head gaskets and want to find a shop that will dobit right e.g. check the heads for warping and cracks and check the block deck for the same! If anyone knows of one please let me know so I can get a quote and start saving!

Anything going on in Utah? How about with your trucks? Is anyone really interested in a GTG? Can Anyone design a Utah FTE window decal? Is it HOT or what? I'm off to Anaheim for a wedding and a Disneyland visit. I haven't been in almost 20yrs. Any recommendations on Must Sees? Or Completely Avoids?

Hey....It is a BS thread right? LOL. Not much of that going on around here...maybe this is a start......I avoided Disneyland for almost 20 yrs....not too bad....haha.

I actually like it, just so packed. I went last about 5 years ago.
Went to Sea World in December, that was real nice, not many people at all.

Places I avoid is mostly Wally World, I haven't been in there for over a year!

Wow! How do you avoid Wally World? I can't seem to go a week without a visit..... I haven't been to Sea World/Knotts/San Diego Zoo since about 1980.

I've never been to Disneyland, Or Sea World EVER!!! hahaha

I had never been to Kalifornia until that trip to Disneyland, never flew on a plane until 3 years ago, I am 35.
As far as Wally's goes, I shop at Smith's and Target a lot, ugh how I hate Wally World!

Sitting here in Anaheim getting ready for the wedding. Lots has changed here. Spending lots of money and haven't even gone into the park yet! That's tonight and tomorrow. Woot!
