100hp Injectors

hi im looking to install 100hp injectors in my 2003 ford f250 7.3l and was wondering if this is a bad idea or not? i have a ts proformance 6 position chip with stock, lope, 80hp daily driver, 100hp race and 120 race. also i have a S&B auto cold air intake, with an exhaust with a 3in down pipe into 4in then into 6in stacks... i heard if you get to much HP it is bad for the connecting rods? is this true or can i get away with 100HP injectors??

You have pmr rods, so yes they are weaker than forged. What size injectors are you talking about? When you say "100 hp" injectors nobody knows what your talking about.

ok, they are the 100hp nozzles...here is the link for them so you can see what im looking to get...

The price is way to high. And it sounds like all they are doing is honing the nozzle and not doing anything to the injector itself, which won't get you any where close to 100hp
You can get stage 3 hybrid injectors from Riff Raff diesel for $1895

Yingling256 01-03-2013 10:01 AM

the price is with a 1200$ core charge so subtract 1200 hundred from that. but what is the site i can find them on? i need to get them and i dont really want to go back to stock so if i can get away with any aftermarket without causing any damage to my motor i want to get them...

Check again...the $1200 core charge is above and beyond the price of the injectors.

Riff-Raff is a site sponsor. Look on top of this page....

there is Riffraff, Full Force, Beans, Farmers......Contact Clay at Riffraff or Matt @ Full Force (just google them)...Keep in mind, you will probally have to sent the chip back for updated tunes for your injectors...and yess, the link is way to high and siund like split shots (factory injectors)

KT performance, they shouldn't charge you anything. Most tuners have free reburns

Take a look at Swamps diesel. They are the ONLY company that's builds their own injectors and also does their own tuning. I like the idea of no finger pointing between the injector suplyer and the tuning company. Swamps may not be the cheapest but, They have the best warranty you will find.

Yingling256 01-03-2013 11:30 AM

if i put these injectors on will i have to do any upgrades such as fast fuel, Bigger fuel pump or anything like that?

Before you enter your card number into a field for ordereing, consider this:
  • Is this your daily driver? Getting itchy for megapower reduces the reliability. Can you afford the down time?
  • The truck loses its road manners at certain power levels, it's then a ricer-eating beast.
  • You have all the air in and out mods to prevent making a coal factory with burning EGTs? Including the CAC boots and intake plenum insert... or billet plenum?
  • Your transmission is beefed up?
  • What are your plans for the fuel pump? Stock can barely handle AC 160/100s.
  • Are you financially prepared to fix all the weak links that more power exposes?
  • Are you willing to take a hard look at what your goal is, what your rescources are, and consult with those who have already rolled in this field of bear traps? I added 100HP... but the injectors were not the biggest expense: The transmission was. Then the air system. Then the exhaust system. Then the gauges, tunes, tuner, and monitoring software. The injectors fell pretty far down this list.

I ordered the Swamps 200/30 injectors (stage 2 aprox 450 horse) and I have a 38R turbo and I was told I won't need anything else other than my regulated return. You may be better off with the 175/146 injectors (stage 1) which I believe will get you a bit under 400 horse if I remember correctly. There are also 160/80 that many people like. So many choices.
