Unfortunately...the rust you see is only about 10% of what's actually there!!!

Exactly Ken. Cory for me I traded that truck in because it would have cost too much to repair all of the rust. Was easier and cheaper to get a newer truck.

You've got to know when to hold 'em...know when to fold 'em.

Yea haha I plowed Sunday that was my only day of work for me

That is true Ken. When it would have cost me a few thousand to repair the floors, rockers, cab corners, doors, and bed it is time to retire the truck. Got a good deal on an 01 which is a heck of an upgrade from what I was driving at the time. Then a yr later the 01 was totaled in an accident and I bought the 03 which I traded in for the 09 I currently have. Ironically ,y last 2 trucks had under 55000 miles on them when they were either totaled in an accident or traded in.

Yea I got a ballpark of 700-800. I got the truck for free Ive put under 2gs into it cant buy a truck with 70 thousand miles on it for that price

no you cant Cory. For me the last 2 trucks I bought had under 25000 miles on them. The 09 had 122 miles on it when I bought it out of the showroom.

Yea it was my grandfathers truck and he passed away i got it alittle over 3 years ago with 32,000 original miles on it and now it has 72,000 original miles. The bodyshops I brought it to today couldnt believe the shape and the miles that were on the truck. They were truely blown away

fire240 01-02-2013 03:43 PM

Thats cool Cory. For the most part I have lucked out with the trucks I have bought. My 85 had the 4.9 under the hood. If I could I wouldnt mind getting another truck with the 4.9 in it.
