Jigger2020 12-31-2012 02:47 PM

I have to loose 10 pounds, I put on some weight over Xmas

archtaan 12-31-2012 03:13 PM

That should not be too hard. I think I gained a few pounds myself. Way to much turkey and stuffi - I did exercise a lot though :)

Happy New Year everyone. Cheers to a safe and prosperous 2013. Better get busy losing those pounds Gerry. They seem allot easier to gain than lose these days.

Jigger2020 01-01-2013 08:07 AM

Good morning Ontario and Happy New Year, Gerry, Tim, Don, John, Rick, Dick, Charlie, and all.
John must be happy----The Redskins are in the play-offs.

Jigger2020 01-01-2013 08:39 AM

Howdy George, is that a new Nascar team, never heard of them

GLR 01-01-2013 08:59 AM

The Washington Redskins are Poppa's favorite Football (American style) team. They won their division.
Ran across another Canadian yesterday. Forgot..from Quebec...another country. I was behind him trying to get gas - he was towing a travel trailer. Poor guy had to go see the cashier to get the pump turned on, pump gas, go back in to see the cashier, come back out, to find out that another vehicle was blocking him in at the front. He had room to back up and go around but didn't. I lost patience after 15 minutes and went another 15 miles down the road to get gas.

Jigger2020 01-01-2013 09:03 AM

Now you know why ppl from Quebec are different , ya thats a long time to wait for gas

GLR 01-01-2013 09:10 AM

That particular place, there's only one pump that you can fill up at and still have room to swing around parked cars on the way out. Found another place further down I81 that has lots of room.
On the bright side - no snow down here in Southern VA. Was some up North.
