Somehow, Santa must not have gotten my list crossed with someone else. I got clothes when I asked for a `73 Trans Am 455 SD.:'(

Wifey got me a pair of 3" wider rear fenders from midfifty. I don't think she realized how many other items would need to follow this move. I need to fill up the wells 'stat' with some wheels..

On a more realistic explanation, the fenders had no welting between them and the bed. So rear lower surfaces on both sides sort of oxidized together. I used that plastic panel remover to get them to separate without any external damage to the paint. These Glass ones are pretty darn straight right from mid fifty. You have to drill all the holes which I was not expecting, so I made cardboard templates from the oem ones and they bolted right on. I love the asthetic change, once I get some wheels to fill them I'll be a happy man. |
I asked for undisturbed garage time and got a yes .

I got a bunch of AN fittings & hardware for my stainless steel brake lines.:-X22
