PCV question
My truck is a 94 F150 5.0 auto, does this engine have the pcv behind the upper intake in the lower intake? Its where a chevrolet distributor would be. I used to mess with 5.0 mustangs back in the day and they had a PCV screen in the intake below the valve that nobody ever changed. They would get stopped up and cause oil leaks which I'm dealing with now.

Ya, pretty sure it's hooked in the lower back, real PITA to get to.
Come to think, I've had my intake a few times, but can't recall ever removing that screen and cleaning it? Lack of being able to "Breathe" and it would cause leaks everywhere. |
its motorcraft part number FA-1068, I had Napa cross it to a wix filter and it was like 6 bucks. You can clean them but I usually messed them up getting it out. They get real stuck if no one have ever changed it. I usually have to stick a hook pick into it and pull up..

Update. I got a chance to look at my truck and the PVC is in the right valve cover in the back. The screen I posted is not needed on this truck.
