That is very inexpensive as well, I may get it still, thanks

Any chance you would post the parts breakdown on my brakes thread, it would help me to identify the seals I may need?

JimG1098 12-22-2012 02:15 PM

in order to do that I would have to know exactly what year, model, etc. Even though my truck is a 54 f-750, the particular model in the parts book makes it a Q model. The proper person to ask is Number dummy. He has helped me so many times , even to just establish what catagory model it falls into. then you will know for future

Numberdummy gave me this info..........According to the 1948/56 truck parts catalog: 1951/56 F7/F700: Eaton model 16600 two speed rear axle...........It is a 52 F-7, does this help? Thanks for your time

Beautiful truck! I'm working on an F-8. I'm trying to subscribe to similar threads for ideas, instructions, and techniques for working on and maintaining these old trucks. Also I'm trying to avoid making mistakes. Many times someone has already made these mistakes, why should I repeat! LOL! I'm also running a build thread on my 52. Might as well prove to everyone that many times I can screw up easy stuff, so I post good and bad.

Hi gang lookie what I got Please go to post # 62

Thanks to two people in DMV that gave a crap and helped me out. They did a good job and took the time to research my situation. It was a fire truck, and back in the day, they were neve titled. My own department never had licence plates. Subsequently, there was no title or registration for this vehicle. I tries several times over the years with no luck. They mde it happen Yea team!! The plate is a 54 Maryland. Check out the FD. It was issued to volunteer fireman at the time. Hopefully, I will be able to put this on the truck when I register it after completion.

That's great! :-jammin

Just a word of caution though. I know we're all friends here, but I wouldn't post anything with my address on it on the internet... :-huh

Try clicking on the "EDIT" button on the lower right of the post and see if you can highlight the pic and delete it. If that doesn't work (it should) let a moderator know you want to delete the post.
