A recipe for a monster

Hey everybody

Thanks for all the posts back to my "Front Sump" thread
in the 385 series forum.

I'd like to ask all of you big block builders and owners out
there for your advice, wisdom and help- I want to build my
my 460 up the best I can. I promised my wife she can have
any new vehicle she wants- "Wilma" will be my daily driver
until I drop over dead. And I think she wants a new Jag...!

So I gotta make this one last. I may be buried in it! Any
recommendations, suggestions, advice, experience and
bits of wisdom are greatly welcomed. My goal is to build
this 460 for dependability and offroad/towing, using stock
parts as they apply, aftermarket as they are proven. Also
if I can I'd like to convert from automatic to NP 435 manual.

The engine is out of a '75(?) Lincoln Town Coupe, bone stock.
My truck is a 1977 F-250 4WD styleside w/400ci :-rip auto/
ps/pb/lowboy NP 205 transfer case. The body is rusted beyond
belief, it was a Wisconsin truck. I have a donor 1979 F-150
no title parts truck with straight metal and factory a/c.

I want to rebody and re-engine/trans "Wilma". And I really
need your help. Everybody is welcome to PM or email me or
post replies to this thread. Will give home phone out on PM
to those interested in making up a phone list for all of us
to keep in touch other than the forums or email. Thanks again
for all your help!

Hey Gregdatech

I checked my profile and PM is off for all users.
Oh well...

My email is whiteknight@valornet.com, feel
welcome to email, this applies to all us Okies
so drop a line anytime!

Maybe thats why we're looking to swap metal
because they use a whole lot more salt up North
than we do down here. Email me for phone #, if
I can help you in any way I will. Cab swaps are
WORK! I'm gonna put in a 3" lift kit when I do mine.

I think you said (correct me if I'm wrong) that you're
close to 81st and Yale. Well, I'm close to 81st and
161st (Elm) in B.A. That rocks.
