The first two are Warn Enforcer bumpers.

The last one is homemade.

sweet! Cant find one tho =(( any suggestions on where to look for one? And im new, but is there bed bars i can put on the truck? Ive seen people with them, but GORhino makes them for the 96+ trucks. Will it fit anyway?

Sadly, Warn doesn't make those anymore. They were very tough bumpers though, and it's too bad they were discontinued. If you were going to find one, it would be on craigslist, maybe ebay, or a junk yard.
Bed bars? like a roll bar? the beds on these trucks are all the same from 80-96 and the 97 HD trucks (F250 and 350)

To maximise your trucks sexiness you should install an 80-86 front bumper, along with the 80-86 doghouse. I might be a bit biased though.

On a more serious note, Jeff's bronco graveyard sells two styles of winch bumpers for your year truck.

A few hours with a welder and torch and some scrap steel.

I wish i could. I want to convert the front end but no one has done it, so im abit skeptical on what parts i need and what fab work needs to be done. :-roll

Im also not gonna pay 1000+ for a bumper :-X15

And 86sixbanger, that things sweet...im no bueno with a welder lol

garthneddy 10-18-2012 01:43 PM

There are alot of people that have done the front clip conversion. Its a fairly straight forward swap

X2. That's my plan. Bumpers for bull nose trucks look better too.

firerescue9 10-18-2012 08:18 PM

is there any write up on it? anyone whos done it?

garthneddy 10-19-2012 07:02 AM

Use the search, It has been covered before

Will just the bumper from the bullnose readily swap over to the '87 - '91?

Actually looking at some pics of '80 - '86 trucks now, I'm thinking in hindsight that was a dumb question any way. It really is a different configuration bumper that would only work well with the matching sheet metal.

Never mind - carry on...
