52 Ford V8 Flathead w/3spd Trans for sale
 

I have for sale an original v8 flathead with the 3 speed transmission for sale. The flathead and transmission is out of my 52 Ford truck and sitting in my garage on crib block at the moment. It ran when I pulled the engine, only problem being that it hadn't been started in close to 10 years, the carburetor was a little clogged and needed to be cleaned out. Other than that it ran fine, even drove it up on to the trailer that I hauled the truck home on. I'm sure it can use some TLC but when the truck was bought it was driven 100 miles to where it was tore down and then moved outside under a shed and the engine was never taken on long drives after that, only started occasionally for a moment.

The engine has mercury heads on it, and will need a new fuel pump, a fuel line broke off in the pump when I pulled the engine. Like I mentioned, it will need TLC to make it nice again.

The engine is in my way and I don't have any use for it. I would like to get $700 obo. Also, I live in South Kentucky and this will be a local pick up deal, I won't be able to ship the item.
