inner door metal rattle??
 

Wondering if anybody lee has run into this. The rear doors of my supervene have an unfortunate rattle. There is a sheet in the inside of the doors (between the skins) which seems to be just loose enough to rattle when I turn my stereo up (dual h/u with Polk 5x7). Now I tried some silicone sealant in the bases to silince the rattle but with the poor access it just didn't work. I do have dynamat around the speakers and its not your typical speaker rattle as you can here it when you close the doors as well.

Any thoughts? Id almost like to try shooting some greatstuff in there but I'm worried that it wouldnt worm so hot kn the best case and would screw up the latching system in the worst case.

I can't imagine that skin would rattle because it's so thin. My door lock mechanisms used to rattle on my 2000.

Get some sound deadening. Put it on both sides & the outer skin. Seal the door.
