o2 sensor pigtail wiring application

Hi All,
i have a heated o2 sensor i took out of my 1996 f150 with a 4.9l inline six. scan tool said o2 heater circuit bad. can anyone tell me the color code on the pigtail on the sensor. it has four wires, 2 white ones, a black one and a grey one. i know that one is bat ground for heater , one is computer ground, one is signal to computer, and one is 12 volt to heater.

also what is the resistance value of the heater?

Thanks

Look at the TRUCK wiring, and then match the connectors up to see what's what. ;) The Haynes manual should have all that info.

o2 sensor pigtail wiring application

Hi all,
I posted about this yesterday and got a reply and do appreciate it but the answer was of no help.

I need to know what the wires go to on the o2 sensor on a 1996 4.9L . the sensor has 2 white wires, one grey wire, and one black wire. i know they go to hego signal, hego ground, power ground, nad key power but need to know which wire goes to which.

i do not need to know where they go to on the engine.

thanks,
