this STUPID fuel bowl! argh

Well,i have yet another fuel leak.on....wait for it....the fuel bowl, imagine that.
i had the regulator off a while back to clean the spring.i replaced the o-ring on that part.at the time i noticed the part that goes inside the bowl that keeps it all aligned had previously been mangled from someonne not having it lined up and bolting it down.well,i just replaced the ring and said,we will just see how this goes...well fast forward a few months...i keep smelling fuel when i walk past the front and have checked but no apparent leaks and none on the ground....well today i saw a drip when it sat on my way home at one of my errands.so i check when i get home and it is leaking from the regulator o-ring now......so.....anyone got a good regulator assy they want to part with? Now the truck is down and i cant even get it into my shop and im driving the dodge...bummer:-(

BuckHammer 10-08-2012 10:11 PM

Congratulations! In my experience, Dodges have pretty much no gas in them soon after you fire them up from a full tank, lol.

fordman67 10-08-2012 10:26 PM

I have never filled it up...on general principal i cant put more money in fuel than the truck is worth...seems like it would be toatled brah ha ha ha...
75$ at best is 3/4 tanks.with the 360 gasser and 727 trans it is pretty much a pig.
pretty bad when my cc 350 4x is my economy vehicle...

Ouch!

What year is it? Yesterday, it seems like everybody with an old D or W series truck was out. Saw a bunch of cool ones.

You have pics? I know a guy who might be interested. Or, he might not. It's hard to tell with him sometimes.
