Attachment 62165 Attachment 62166 Attachment 62167 Attachment 62168 Attachment 62169 Attachment 62170 there's parts in other spots like another 4.6 at my unk's lot , and some things at my unk rich's place , and i have to eventually find room for the old frame from the 53 inside , the new body parts ( only reusing the cab , doors and hood from the 53 ) and the 52 has too come in for the winter , and i have stuff in the attic including 4,000 plus hot wheels , and my seat is in the top bunk bed in the grandkid's room .................:):) |
my garage is not as organized as 55 f350's and most of the stuff is wood working, tools, etc. i do have to use a 4' stick to push the on/off button on my radio.

Now that you've brought this up, that was one of my biggest dreads with hosting the Truckstock thing. The guys were gonna see it all, not just "glimpses" created by camera angles, etc. I worked on it and still had a big mess. It's hard to put 15 pounds of crap into a 5 pound bag. Actually, that shop in the pics looks pretty good in my opinion, and it has some nice looking equipment and benches. My uncle who died this summer used to say, "You accumulate to capacity, and then some."
Edit: Honestly man, I like it. I like the small shelves, and the milk-crates angled like that are cool. |
Looks like an organized mess to me.....

That's my kinda' black hole, cept' mine is organised confusion. The only time I find stuff I need is when I'm looking for something else! Yours is looking preety good, thanks for sharing.

I just wish I had a garage  to clutter up.

well you may think it's organized , but the shoddy pics don't show all the tools etc. laying on the ground , and as for being semi organized that's due to the wife , not me !!!!! LOL !!!!! mervy that's how i find things period . i was looking for one of the large bore holley 94's the other day that are normally in a cabinet , gave up . then i was looking for the rocker arm shafts to the 292 and lo and behold there sat the 94( or i'll go buy a new part to replace the lost one then find it ) ........ carolina you want one and i need two more ! you seriously would not believe some of the stuff i've had to sell or give away or pitch as i have no room . one of these days i'll drag that wire welder out , it's been used twice by my neighbor , still new so to speak , and either learn to use it or sell it ........ makes more room for stuff !!! i had three flatheads , a roller 5.0 , a 351 windsor , two 390's 2 360's , and 3 y blocks at one time stacked up like firewood in there . actually ran into one of the fe's trying to park one day , in the 53 , in the hole ......:D somewhere in there is my set of freshly milled eab heads , and i need them to do some measuring on cam lift , and god knows exactly where they are , but i did find the new power window motors for th bird though ..................

Flatbeds make great workbench/storage spaces.

How the heck can you work in there - It's so darn clean I could never find anything - I think I got that and more in a 1952 single car garage - Once I had my panel inside, the rear bumper was touching the back wall, I had to squeez out and slide over the front fender and I had about three inches between the front bumper and the door - I fixed all that I got the panel out and filled it up with STUFF

Kevin, everyone else, join the club.
Here's my shop, about 75% is for my business the rest is for, uhm, my stuff. This is my business shop area, really, even though I have a little storage space above the office. This is my "Junk", as my wife calls it. http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop001.jpg http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop002.jpg More junk http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop003.jpg http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop004.jpg Now here's my play area. See it's also a bit of a mess but it sure is nice to have an area to work in. Oh yeah, it's even nicer to have a lift. http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop005.jpg More "junk" http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop006.jpg My sand blasting cabinet http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/shop/shop007.jpg |
