Voice commands on 2013
 

Is anyone having problems with Sync not taking commands like "call" so and so? I've reset the unit twice and still the same problem. I read somewhere that Ford is having problems with this. Is this true?

Depending on what system you have, you need to say phone first.

I do say phone first

I just press the Sync button on the steering wheel...once prompted by the Sync gal 'Please say a command" I just say "call so-and-so". The she says "on cell or at home" if applicable.

I'd call the Sync help line...they've been very helpful! The number should be in your owners manual package.

I'm having the same problem with ours. I'm told that there's a much needed update for these 2013 sync systems.....no resolution yet. nothing like paying $40K+ and having to wait. I'm calling Ford tomorrow to raise hell.
