1978 F250 4x4
 

I have owned this truck for a few months, I used it as a daily driver/ work truck but I just picked up a Diesel so this thing has got to go, I need the space. This truck runs great, starts up everytime, is a pleasure to drive and just passed smog.

351M V8 - runs strong, sounds good, 2 barrel carb gets good milage, I average 12-16 mpg
Np 435 4 Speed Manual transmission with granny gear first
Np 205 Transfer Case - 4H 2H and 4L - this thing is a mountain goat in 4L
D44 High Pinion Front axle with Manual Locking Hubs
D60 Rear Axle - 4.10 Gearing
Regular Cab with Long Bed
It has Power disc brakes in the front that work great
It has Power Steering that works great
Dual Tanks with electronic selector switch
Tow Package heavy duty hitch with trailer brake controller
Just replaced the battery
Just passed Smog
I have a clean title in hand, it is currently registered, plates good until March of 2013
It has nice 33" BFG All Terrains on it, the front 2 are brand new less than 500 miles, the back 2 have some sun cracking but still 70% tread left

Every single thing on this truck works except the gas gauge, It needs a new sending unit in the main tank, the gauge doesnt read right.
This truck is over 30 years old but it is in great shape.
There are a few rust spots in the normal places but no cancer on the floor boards or on the frame.
This truck does not have A/C
There are some rips in seat but all springs and foam are good, i took seat cover off to take pictures.
I just gave it a tune up, New Plugs, New Rotor and Cap and brand new Plug Wires, Also did oil change and fluids in the Tranny, Tfer Case and Axles.

There is nothing wrong with this truck and I am sad to see it go but I just don't have any use for it.
