99 Ranger 4 cyl Removal of Thermostat

Does anyone have a picture of where the thermostat on a 99 ranger with a 4 cyl. is located, and how to remove it?
Where I think that it is, it looks like a bear to replace.

Im not sure if it has the same motor, but on a 2002 2.3 it is on the left front of the engine, hopefully you dont have the same one piece unit I have, that was one expensive thermostat

From what I have seen, I should be able to just replace the thermostat.

1999 four cylinder. Is that a 2.5L? Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. That is where the thermostat is located. Should be fairly easy to replace.

There is a manifold that looks like the screws maybe difficult to get to.
