Will this truck be fast?

I know this site is for high performance enthusiasts, so I figured it would be the best place to ask my questions. I am planning on ordering a 2013 F-150 4x4 XLT regular car/short bed with the optional V-8 6.0L 360 hp engine.
Yes, I know the new twin-turbo V-6 is a hot engine, but I am planning to keep this truck a long time and the thought of the repair bills for keeping twin turbochargers running at beak efficiency after a five to 10 years scares me.
Soooo ... I chose the reliable V-8. My question is fairly simple: Given the small size and light weight of the model truck I'm buying, will it have good acceleration with 360 horses pushing it? I've researched it, and the charts say that engine does zero to 60 in 6.75 seconds in a tricked out F-150 Super Cab, which is obviously much heavier. So I'm thinking a small, light regular cab should be at least that fast.
I've checked out some of the older model (2000) F-150 Lightning trucks, and they were only a second or so faster at 5.6 seconds zero to 60.
Am I being overly optimistic, or can I expect 6.75 or better performance from my truck?
Thanks,
Sunbum47

You talking about the 5.0 or the 6.2?

Bone stock i think they run high 13's, low 14's. With a 150 shot, boss intake and some other mods they run in the mid to high 11's. With a roush TVS and a good tune low 11's maybe high 10's. All these are all 2wd. 4wd should have better 60' times. Personally I don't know of anyone fast with a 4wd. But I'm not looking around either.

Edit, A rc/sb 5.0 should have 1/4 mile times similar to gen 2 lightnings.

Sweet!

Thanks for the feedback ... sounds like I wasn't too far off in my calculations that my truck package would be similar to some of the first or second generation Lightnings around 1999 or 2000. I know that the newer Lightning models were 4 sec rocket sleds.
Please understand, I am NOT planning to run this truck in any races ... street or otherwise. Obviously, with 4WD and limited-slip differential, I'm just a guy who enjoys hunting and fishing off-road and also like a little extra "zip" in his ride.
When I'm driving on those country roads during hunting trips and I get stuck behind a farm truck, it's nice to know if I want to pass and I can zip around that slower vehicle in a flash and not have to worry about spending too much time in the wrong lane, if you know what I mean.
FYI ... when I was doing my research one of the Ford guys told me that the twin-turbo V-6 is real sensitive and doesn't like owner modifications like K&N air cleaners, etc. Just a little bit of grit from off-road dust can damage the turbos ... and that sounds to me like REPAIR TIME $$$$ KA-CHING!!
Again, thanks for your feedback and if anyone else would like to offer a helpful comment I would sure appreciate it.

You will be fine for what your wanting to do with it. Once you get it if you feel like its lacking in power the 5.0 responds to mods well.
