That's a pretty good deal for a press. I would have loved one of those. Yeah I bet the axle u joints were a lot more difficult than the driveline. You could attach a plate to the bottom of the press and smash fruits.. pretend their zombies. :D

Well, Im working the kinks out of her, slowly getting better. She's running pretty good. But there is still lots of room for improvement. But I did clean her up a bit. She needs to be wheeled out BAD lol. has a few hazy/cloudy spots. But I drove her to work.

Thats good, i bet it felt good to be back in the beast eh? I don't drive TGM as much any more due to gas prices and not having a job, but when i do i am still overjoyed by the power it has. After having only 6 cylinder cars previously a v8 is a lot of fun.

New front brake pads; trying ceramic. Also rotated the tires front to back.

GruesomeJeans 10-06-2012 09:25 PM

I should rotate my tires eventually. For some reason the tread area of my new tires in the back are getting discolored.. The fronts look fine.

Reworked the exhaust on the 94 after work. Got in a "better" set of street tires this week so they went on as well.

I pressed out the driver side axle shaft U joint. It was the 1978 factory original! Hope to get the new one back in this week to start putting the axle back together.

I got my driver side hub reassembled with all of the Dana 44HD parts so now it is an 8 on 6 1/2" wheel pattern to match the rear.

Nothing. Did have a guy want to buy it. Then another tell me not to drive it in the winter. I said no and ok, in that order.

GruesomeJeans 10-11-2012 06:21 PM

Not to? Any specific reason?

I have done nothing today..

It will never see snow. Well it may see it but it wont turn a wheel in the stuff.

I haven't messed with it lately, or even drove it. Been busy with the IDI. Prepping it for a rescue mission lol. Me and a buddy will be heading out to rescue his 87 F150 4x4 flatbed. Its been sitting at a property a couple hours away for the past couple years. It was the truck that drug my Bronco home when I bought it. So it's now my chance to return the favor. It'll most likely end up a strictly off-road toy.
