Happy October to you also.
Hopefully the weather will start cooling off now.
I'm tired of heat.
Day #2 of a good slow soaking rain but I'll take it.
Tree's should start changing colors this week so a light rain and cool nights should produce great fall colors.

Yes, it was kinda boring, but I got a lot done around the house.
Off to work.
Hope you have a peaceful week Roy.

It was homecoming weekend here. 12 girls at the house Saturday, 6 spent the night. It was fun. 2 of the girls play travel soccer for me. They went to bed at 2:30am and the poor things are trained already (from school) to be up early. I think they were all up by 6:00am. Our game wasn't until 4pm so they got a nap in. They play great. We lost 0-1 to a really good team. I was happy with the play of my team even though we lost.
Happy October everyone!

Sounds like you had a busy weekend there Savage

Pretty typical...it all starts to calm down the end of October. Football and Soccer end and I have a life again. LOL...

I remember those days only too well. I coached Little League for 7 years, then Babe Ruth for 2 years with my son. Meanwhile, I was President of our homeowners association for 13 years, during a major water system install. Very time consuming. And I worked 12 hour rotating shifts. Wife was going to night school and commuting 180 miles round trip to college. It was a very busy time. I miss being around kids sometimes. Watching them learning new skills and being a part of their growth. It was/is a very rewarding experience.

Hats off to all the volunteers out there trying to make a difference in a kids world and life. :-X22

Amen on that...I know a lot of people that volunteer a lot of their valuable time. If people didn't help out they way that they do...life would be a lot different here.

Hi Guys......
What a F.... mess. As you know, I had my German Shepard with me at the RV Park. She died on the 12th. Well, there were 2 other dogs still at the house.
Star: overweight boarder collie. Belongs to the 17 yr old twins. (Gina's Sons)
Petunia: Rotwiler..(don't embarrass her and tell her her name:-X04) She is diabetic, really attaches to Anthony (one of the twin Boys). Tonight I get a call from a Neighbor. Gina told him to call me and tell me to take the Dogs tonight or she was taking Star to the pound and Petunia to be put asleep in the morning. What a F*** NUT, Mean *&^&*%. Well, the neighbor brought the dogs to me at the RV Park. I hear Gina is going more crazy by the day.

SavageNFS 10-01-2012 11:29 PM

@Roy...what a nutbag? Who takes out there frustrations on a dog AND calls the neighbor to call you? It's like she's in third grade...only less mature.
