Question

Howdy! I currently have an 09 Nissan Titan and had a little bit of problems out of it. It currently has 40k miles on it and the tail pipe behind the muffler rusted off (We're from Tx never had that before haha) and the exhaust and with +100 degree temps. caused it to melt all the sensor wires and the whole wiring harnes to the frame. I'm looking to trade it in, before anymore problems start happening to it from that incident, on a 2011-2012 F250 Diesel and I'm just currious had there been any problems out of them? Like anything major. And also how good is the quality of the truck? Thanks!

If you follow the forum long enough you might see a significant problem here or there, but no widesread problem areas have cropped up yet with the powertrain. Far as the rest of the truck most don't like the FX4 package shocks, but mine are still working fine at 10k miles. Mine so far has not been back to the dealer for repairs of any kind.:-jammin

also, for those towing, the 250 rear springs are lighter than expected.. nice for empty, but not for hauling or towing a heavy load.. so, if u are planning on 5th wheel check the 350.

I love my 250.. amazing machine.. shocked to see 19mpg when on the highway.
my 08 dually got 12 on a good day.

Those titans seem to have nice motors but wow, you're going to love the upgrade to our 6.7!

Things that have been reported here are issues with sensors, a couple of torque converters, a fan clutch, water pump, radiator leak, cracked valves (cab and chassis models).

Not really anything that can be neatly categorized by build date, year model. No big patterns. Fuel pumps failed on a couple folks and we thought we may have found the "6.7 weakness" but it's been quiet for a while now, isolated to two or three failures about 9 months ago.
