sea foam

What does everybody think of sea foam? I have a Buddy at work that swears by it.. He even runs it through his vac lines.

I use it in everything I own. I poersonally will not use any other product, except maybe Marvel Mystery Oil. When I worked at advance auto parts we tried just about everything on the additive wall and founs nothing work as well as Sea Foam. On carnurateed cars I will slowely pour it straight down the carb and on Fuel incected I will administer it through a vacuum line.It cleans the intake and removes carbon from combustion chambers. I also add it to the fuel system, and when i buy a new used vehicle I will add a half can to the oil prior to the oil change to help clean the oil system

I have been using seafoam in everything I own, including my lawn mower and motorcycles, for the past 3 years. I am completely satisfied with it. It keeps fuel from going bad better than Sta-Bil, and keeps the insides of my carburetors from developing that green corrosion that the Ethanol Fuel causes when my vehicles sit for long periods of time.

I do not, however like to put it in my oil, at any time, but that is just me. I have used TransTune by seafoam in my E4OD's, and it makes them shift smoother.

I've used it, half can in the gas tank when I first got the truck after it'd been sitting for a year, and then one time through the vacuum line.. not sure specifiics on what it helped but it definitely didn't hurt to "clean out" the system..

I agree its a good product just follow the instructions.

I have used it in the tank, oil and throught the carb. The only time there has ever been a noticeable difference in any of my vehicles is when i ran it in the oil. I routinely pick up at least an inch of vacuum and 2-300 rpms at idle
