Classified's info

I went to the classified link that was provided and read the rules. It looks like I can only post after 25 "postings". I am under this since I am a newbie. Had some great help from the forum about troubleshooting my solenoid on my starter, which was burned out. Helped me get it running!

Any other suggestions, or just wait till I get to 25?

Thanks again

Thanks for the thought and link. I have posted 26 times now and I still can't figure out how to list this in the Classifieds! Any pointers. When I go to post a new Classified it says I don't have permission to do so?

while you do have the proper amount of posts, you sometimes have to wait 24 hours or so for the forum software to catch up and recognize your post count.
i edited the title, and deleted any posts with the offending items in them to keep you from getting in trouble with the moderator here.
as the guys here will tell you, that TJC feller is a real pain in the ass.:D

Thanks for your help from the impending trouble from TJC and the info about the classifieds. I am glad it wasn't that I just wasn't holding my mouth the right way. :D

So a New Jersey question for you. Doesn't it drive you crazy you can't legally pump your own gas!? :)

Best, DWhitey

HELL NO!!!
why would i want to stand out in the rain and snow to pump my own fuel?
having fuel pump jockeys serves a dual purpose. it gives the people that can not get a job anywhere else someplace to work, keeping them off the unemployment lines. :D

Creating jobs = fabulous!

We don't have full service anymore in KS, but when I was looking for grad schools on the East coast I went through NJ on my way to Boston. I almost got in a fight with the attendant because I pulled out the pump and was trying to figure out where to pump when he yelled at me and told me to get back in my vehicle. I just thought he was being rude, not doing his job. After we figured out how it works in NJ, we just both laughed and I happily waited for him to fill it up. Interest concept really. Creating jobs = fabulous! :-X22

Moving on, I promptly got my car towed in Philly. $175 to get it out in 1996. Ouch!:-arrgh
